I'm a photographer living in Houston, Texas. When I'm not making images, I'm spending time with Grace and Oliver, my wife and son, and our two long-haired dachshunds.

I work at Flywheel, a design and web shop in The Heights.

I really enjoy hiking, camping, and all things outdoors. Eventually, I'd like to visit every national park in America.

Grace’s parents took the entire family to Disney World last summer. It was Ollie’s first time on a roller coaster (Slinky Dog in Toy Story Land). I brought my Osmo Action (like a GoPro) with me and used it to film our trip. Quarantine has given me a little time to catch up on editing some personal videos during naps and nights. With extra time and an itch to create, I tried my hand at some watch photography this week. It was quite challenging. Overall, I’m pleased with how this turned out, but more excited by what I learned by trying something new. When shooting close up like this (macro photography), the area of focus is very small. So this image is comprised of 32 frames at varying focal points, stitched together in Photoshop, to get the entire watch in sharp focus.
