I work at Flywheel, a design and web shop in The Heights.

I really enjoy hiking, camping, and all things outdoors. Eventually, I'd like to visit every national park in America.

Oliver’s 7u baseball team had an amazing season and we’re halfway through our single elimination tournament. If we win at 6pm tonight, we play for the championship 30 minutes later. Holler at me if wanna ditch your Friday plans and come hang with us!

I celebrated with (Oliver suffered through) a hurried impromptu portrait session in the living room yesterday afternoon. I had everything set up before I asked him to pose, but by the time I got the lighting dialed in towards acceptable, he was OVER IT.

Would love to experiment with some action shots like this, break out the smoke machine, maybe invest in some lazers to go with it. Who’s down?

Had five hecks of a time hiking thru Cimarron Canyon State Park in New Mexico a couple of days ago. This waterfall was a little over a mile into the Clear Creek Trail, undoubtedly our favorite family hike to date. Shout out to the fam for being patient and letting me goof around on my phone’s camera for a bit AND to the nice lady who offered to include me in a pic.

I was just cruising around exploring some woods near my in-laws’ place, doing a bit of light trespassing, when I noticed some roughly cleared trails. I followed them and saw some heavy machinery through the trees. Further in were the beginnings of some very well-designed & groomed mountain bike trails.

I started riding them and eventually saw a guy on a bike. I said hey and asked if he knew anything about the trails. Turns out, they’re his. He (and a guy he’s hired) has been working on them for 6 months, says he’s going to open it up to the public by the end of the year.

Feeling a bit awkward, I asked if he wanted me to immediately vacate his premises. He said I was welcome to stay, but please keep it quiet. So, shut up about it.
